Graphite Expanded polystyrene is chosen in case we want energy upgrading of the building with a very low coefficient of thermal conductivity.

How do we do it?

Application of the insulation system will significantly reduce the costs of heating and cooling of housing, improve sound insulation construction and stop moisture problems that occur within the home as mold.

Step by step

• Remove loose pieces of substrate. If we have absorbent substrate apply high penetration primer GLX 292 FLEX PRIM, in the case where the substrate is non-absorbent apply the quartz primer GLX 190.
• Apply the adhesive of insulation boards to stick the insulation on the application surface. The insulation boards are placed onto the application surface with special CLIMAPLUS anchors.
•  Apply adhesive-grid-adhesive system (THC 405), placing CLIMAPLUS fiberglass mesh into the adhesive we have applied. Priming the surface with acrylic base primer GLX 496 (white or GLX 494 colored).
• Then we apply the organic coating (DEC 428 / DEC 431). In cases where the application is on the coastal area or an area with high humidity recommend applying silicone coating.
• So for the last steps: Priming the surface with colored silicone primer GLX 498 and then apply the silicone organic coating (DEC 438). We use mosaic coating (DEC 433) primarily for decorative purposes but can be applied in all cases.
