Description
STATUS DUROMETAL is a glossy rust preventive solvent base enamel paint of high durability, suitable for all types of metal surfaces and metal structures as well as for painting trucks, tractors, machines, etc. It is softly worked, provides easy coverage and spreads very well. It is highly resistant in adverse weather conditions and in washing. The product creates a glossy and hard surface without altering
shades, thus providing protection and beauty for a long time. With the addition of DUROMETAL HARDENER the paint becomes harder and more resistant to atmospheric conditions

Application Steps
The surface should necessarily be durable, dry and free from any dust, oils or rust for good adhesion. Remove all loose or peeled previous paints. Surfaces formerly painted with oil colors should be sanded and dusted well. For metal protection, first apply STATUS RUST PRIMER or STATUS MARINE PRIMER. On a non-iron metal surface (galvanized, aluminum, etc.), first apply WASH PRIMER and then STATUS BUILDING PRIMER.
Step 2Stir well the content of the container before use, dilute accordingly, and apply the product taking care to cover all difficult points of the surface, such as, corners, hollows, etc.
Step 3Add DUROMETAL HARDENER up to 10% by volume in order to increase hardness and paint resistance.
Step 4The mixture should be used within 8 hours. After the application, close the container tightly so that it can be maintained in good condition for future use. It can be stored in a sealed container without any problem for a long time.
Step 5In case a second layer is needed, apply at least 16 hours after the first layer.
Storage
Store in tightly closed container for 24 months of the date of production in a cool and dry place.
