Step 1

The surface must necessarily be clean, dry, sound and free from dust, mold, grease before applying. Remove all frayed, or peeling old paint. Where necessary grouting, use the STATUS 100% ACRYLIC PUTTY and after drying, rub with sandpaper and dust well. Where there are large cracks, use the ready-to-use light-weight, white putty STATUS ONE COVER, with a single pass without rubbing. New surfaces, must be primed with STATUS ACRYLIC PRIMER, STATUS AQUADUR or GLX 292 FLEX PRIM. If it is fresh plaster or cement, let it dry absolutely thoroughly for at least one month before painting. On gypsum boards or for repainting water painted surfaces (with lime or glue) or soiled surfaces (nicotine, soot from heaters, soot, fumes, coffee, juice, graffiti, inks, markers, mildew, mold, moisture, oil, etc.), prime first with STATUS DUR.

Step 2

Stir well the contents of the container before use, dilute properly and apply 1-2 coats of paint.

Step 3

Apply the second layer at least 2-3 hours after the first.

Step 4

After use close well the container to maintain the product in good condition for future use. It can be stored in a tightly closed container, without any problem for a long period provided that it hasn’t been diluted with water.

Step 5

The painted surfaces is recommended not to be washed until 20-30 days have passed after the paint application.

Step 6

On newly plastered or concreted surfaces the paint application can be done only after 30-40 days.

Step 7

STATUS bases are used exclusively for the production of shades through the STATUS tinting system and should not be applied without the addition of special STATUS pigments. Very dark colors in matte shades that are subject to frequent washing are not recommended.
