STATUS RUSTBLOCK HAMMER
Description
STATUS RUSTBLOCK HAMMER is an anticorrosive solvent-based enamel, specifically formulated for direct application onto rusted surfaces. Its advanced composition offers robust protection for aged metal substrates, ensuring excellent adhesion and smooth leveling. The resulting finish resembles wrought metal, combining exceptional durability with shades that remain unchanged over time.
Application Fields
- Suitable for paint and rust protection of all kinds of new and old metal surfaces, such as doors, railings, metal handrails, elevators etc.
Advantages
- Excellent corrosion protection
- No red lead or alternative rust primers are required
- Delivers a high gloss finish, enhanced hardness, and strong resistance to harsh weather conditions and mechanical impact.
- Strong adhesion
- Excellent leveling and workup
- Excellent coverage
- High performance
Application Steps
The surface should necessarily be rigid, dry and free from dust, grease or rust for good adhesion. Remove all loose or peeled old paints. Surfaces previously painted with oil paint should be sanded and wiped well. In non-ferrous metal surfaces (galvanized, aluminum etc.) first apply the WASH PRIMER and then the STATUS BUILDING PRIMER. In addition, to ensure maximum corrosion protection especially in aggressive environments such as coastal and industrial areas or northern sides, first paint with STATUS RUST PRIMER of STATUS MINIO.
Step 2Stir well the content of the container before use, dilute properly and apply the product, in 2 thick layers with particular attention to the full coverage of difficult points, such as corners, recesses etc. to avoid possible ingress of moisture causing oxidation.
Step 3To ensure maximum protection from rust, the film thickness should be at least 100-120 mm.
Step 4Then close well the container to maintain in good condition for future use. Can be stored in a tightly closed container, without any problem for a long time.
Storage
In the original sealed container, in dry places at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C for 24 months after the production date.
