FLOOR SEAL S

Description

FLOOR SEAL S is a one-part (1K), solvent-based, clear acrylic resin polymer. Ideal for the protection of freshly cast concrete and preventing rapid evaporation of mixing water from fresh concrete surfaces. Protects both fresh and hardened concrete

Ideal for:

  • Significant water loss reduction and high moisture retention.
  • Reduces capillary cracks that may occur during concrete setting.
  • Impregnates and stabilizes absorbent substrates, such as concrete, against dust in depth
  • Water-repellency and protection against water penetration.
  • Penetrates and stabilizes mainly absorbent surfaces, increasing their resistance to abrasion and wear
  • It offers a colorless layer of protection and durability, without leaving any film on the surface.
  • Suitable for indoor- outdoor

Application Fields

The FLOOR SEAL S product is mainly used for:

  • Protecting fresh concrete from rapid evaporation of mixing water.
  • Hardening of existing brittle floors to increase their abrasion and wear resistance.
  • Enhancing the maturation of concrete in order to avoid cracks and dryness.
  • Sealing the concrete and avoiding dust.
  • Areas that are subject to moisture but with light circulation such as basements, parking lots, warehouses.
  • Ideal for large exposed concrete surfaces, such as industrial floors, parking spaces, concrete slabs.

Advantages

  • Significant reduction of water loss during the coagulation of concrete and high retention of its moisture.
  • Checking the maturation of the concrete.
  • Prevents the appearance of moisture.
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor application.
  • Excellent adhesion to old and new concrete.
  • Resistance to ageing and abrasion.
  • Easy to apply with spray, roller or brush.

Implementation Steps

The material is ready for use and can be applied with a roller, brush, or spray.

  • For optimal results on a fresh substrate, it is recommended to apply the material directly by coating or spraying to ensure better penetration until it is saturated. This method promotes thorough coverage, speeds up the application process, and conserves material.
  • Apply one or more coats, taking care to ensure an even distribution. The product should penetrate completely into the substrate without leaving any residue on the surface. You can apply the second layer once the first layer has dried, which will depend on the substrate’s temperature.

Storage

If stored in the original, unopened packaging at temperatures between +5ºC and +35ºC, protect the product from direct sunlight and frost.
