REPAIRING MORTARS
REPIFIX BETON

Description

REPIFIX BETON is a ready-to-use, dry pre-mixed mortar with normal setting time, composed of cement, graded quartz aggregates, and special performance-enhancing additives. It is suitable for casting, repairing, and restoring existing concrete, as well as for the construction of new non-structural, unreinforced elements. It can be used both indoors and outdoors and allows the easy preparation of small quantities of mortar directly at the application site.It is distinguished by its ease of use and its guaranteed strength and durability.

Application Fields

REPIFIX BETON is suitable for:

  • Repairing and replacing deteriorated concrete in non-structural elements
  • Floor screeds, sidewalks, pathways, fence post anchoring, and similar applications
  • Use on substrates such as concrete, brick, and aerated concrete
  • Cement-based renders, screeds, and topping layers
  • Construction of fences and garden features.Lining and rehabilitation of manholes and inspection chambers
  • Fixing and anchoring equipment (e.g., lighting fixtures, signs, and posts)

Advantages

  • Ready to use
  • Excellent workability
  • Produced with quartz sand
  • Reaction to fire CLASS A1
  • Resistant to humid conditions after hardening
  • Suitable for multiple applications

Implementation Steps

In a clean container, add 3.6–3.8 liters of clean water and gradually pour in the contents of the 25 kg bag, mixing continuously until a homogeneous mortar is obtained. Allow the mixture to mature for 3 minutes, then briefly remix before use. It is also recommended to stir the mixture periodically throughout the application period.

Once the mortar has been prepared, do not add extra water to improve its workability. Doing so will reduce its mechanical strength and increase shrinkage. Mixing should be carried out gradually, either manually or with a mechanical mixer, until a lump-free, uniform consistency is achieved.

For larger quantities, a gravity-type concrete mixer may be used. The mortar can be applied in layers up to 10 cm thick for localized repair works.

Special care should be taken during the summer months and on surfaces exposed to direct sunlight. The material should be applied when the ambient temperature is between +5°C and +25°C and not during rainfall. At higher temperatures, strength development occurs more rapidly, while the workability of the material is reduced. At lower temperatures, strength development is delayed. The mortar may be applied either by trowel or by casting/pouring, depending on the application requirements.

Storage

At sealed package for up to 12 months from the date of production, in areas protected from moisture, frost and sunlight.
