THRAKON RAPID

THRAKON RAPID is a liquid admixture used during the concrete casting process to reduce setting time and increase the early strength of concrete. It is an aqueous solution with non-corrosive hardening accelerators, chloride-free, suitable for the preparation of reinforced concrete. It helps accelerate the hydration of the components, reduces the setting time, and speeds up the strength gain, while it can be used effectively at a low temperature.

THRAKON RAPID is an aqueous solution of inorganic salts that reduces setting time and increases early strength. It is indicated for the application of mortars in concrete or at ambient temperatures below 10∘C during the concrete casting phase.

• Chloride-free product
• Contains inorganic salts to accelerate the hydration of concrete
• Effective even at temperatures below 10℃
• High mechanical properties in a short curing time

The product THRAKON RAPID is added to the mixing water for concrete preparation, but mixing it with other additives should be avoided. THRAKON RAPID is recommended for use in low temperatures; however, it should be accompanied by the application of all established concreting rules:

• Low water-to-cement ratio.
• Protection of the cast concrete with insulating boards/slabs to prevent heat loss.
• Component mix temperature greater than 50C.
• Avoid concreting for temperatures lower than −100C.
• Avoid concrete casting when a temperature rise is expected during the day.

Store sealed in a cool and dry environment for 36 months from the production date.
