The paint has become a white powder

POTENTIAL REASONS OF THE PROBLEM

Moisture behind the surface of the color comes from three reasons:

a) lack of waterproofing and rising damp

b) lack of waterproofing from the back side of the wall

c) a series of hairline cracks in the plaster caused moisture to enter behind the paint

SOLUTION

1: Dismantling of the loose and good cleaning of the surface with brush. If there is moisture, let it dry before moving on with repairing.

2: Fill where required with STATUS 100% acrylic putty

3: Prime with Primer STATUS DUR SOLVENT

4: Apply STATUS ALL WEATHER in two coats

Paint has wrinkled in parts of application

POTENTIAL REASONS OF THE PROBLEM

a) Application under prohibitive weather conditions (high moisture)

b) Surface was influenced from weather conditions before it got dried

c) Application was made with very thick coats

SOLUTION

1: Remove all loose particles with a spatula

2: Clean surface thoroughly with a brush

3: Prime the surface with STATUS DUR solvent based

4: Apply STATUS ALL WEATHER, in two coats

After painting, vertical lines appear on surface

1: Clean the surface with pressurized water and leave it to dry

1: With a sandpaper remove all loose and then wipe the surface thoroughly

2: Fill where required with STATUS 100 % acrylic stucco

3: Prime with Primer STATUS DUR SOLVENT

4: Apply STATUS ALL WEATHER in two layers
