THRAKON expands its industrial base in Oinofyta

28.09.2026

With its latest acquisition, THRAKON’s privately owned land in Oinofyta now exceeds 60,000 m² in total.

THRAKON continues to deliver on its investment and growth plan. The company has acquired a new industrial property at the “Tempeli” site in Oinofyta, Viotia, within the Oinofyta–Asopos Remediation Business Park.

A property right next to our existing facilities

The new property covers a total area of 7,659 m² and borders THRAKON’s existing production facilities in Oinofyta. Two plants already operate there, one producing dry mortars and one producing liquid products. This adjacency opens up significant opportunities for the future expansion and development of the company’s industrial complex.

The property includes four industrial buildings, with a combined main and auxiliary floor area of approximately 2,370 m². THRAKON plans to further develop and upgrade the facilities. Total investment in the property is expected to exceed €2 million.

More than 60,000 m² in Oinofyta

The new investment follows the recent acquisition of another plot of approximately 2,500 m² in the same area. With these two investments, THRAKON’s facilities and owned land in Oinofyta now exceed 60,000 m² in total. This creates a strong industrial base for the company’s next phase of growth.

The larger industrial footprint makes room for new production, storage and support operations. It also gives the company greater flexibility and the ability to increase its production capacity in the future.

The investment is part of THRAKON’s broader growth programme. The programme focuses on strengthening production, modernising infrastructure, developing new products and expanding the company’s presence in Greece and in international markets.

Emmanouil Papadakis, CEO of THRAKON, said:

“This new investment is part of a broader, long-term plan for THRAKON’s continued growth. The strategic location of the new property, which borders our existing facilities, gives us significant opportunities to expand our operations in the future.

With our latest investments, our total land in Oinofyta now exceeds 60,000 m², creating the infrastructure needed for the company’s next phase of growth.

We continue to invest with a long-term horizon in THRAKON’s production base, innovation, competitiveness and international reach, laying the foundations for sustainable growth in the years ahead.”
