What do we need?
Roller, trowel, brush, sponge, notched and stainless-steel finishing trowel, spray gun or plastering machine, plastering trowel.
STEP 1
Floor Screed: Apply NSD 600 for floor levelling, smoothing and achieving the required levels.
The material can be applied mechanically using a continuous mixing machine or manually. Apply uniformly at a thickness of 3–10 cm, creating a durable and stable substrate with high mechanical strength and strong adhesion to concrete.
STEP 2
Tile Installation: After approximately 24 hours, apply the acrylic cement-based tile adhesive GEL FLEX VKW 124.
Spread the adhesive evenly and comb it using a suitable notched trowel. Install the tiles by pressing adequately to ensure full contact and strong adhesion. Remove excess adhesive from the joints before it sets.
Grouting and foot traffic are permitted after approximately 24 hours, depending on curing conditions.
STEP 3
Grouting: After approximately 24 hours, apply the coloured cementitious grout LUX GROUTECH FMF 160 to clean and dry tile joints using a rubber float.
Ensure complete filling of the joints and uniform surface finishing. Remove excess material with a damp sponge before complete setting.
LUX GROUTECH FMF 160 provides high mechanical strength, excellent colour stability, water-repellent properties and protection against fungal growth.
