What do we need?
Roller, airless spray gun, paintbrush.
STEP 1
Surface Cleaning: The surface must be clean, sound, dry and free from contaminants that may affect the adhesion of the material. Dust, oils, grease and loose or friable materials must be thoroughly removed.
STEP 2
Surface Priming: STATUS AQUADUR, a micronized acrylic water-based primer, is applied to stabilize the surface and reduce its absorbency. Application is carried out using a paintbrush, roller or airless spray onto a clean and dry surface. It can be diluted with water by up to 100% by volume, depending on the absorbency of the substrate.
STEP 3
Application of Anti-Mould Paint: STATUS KITCHEN & BATH, an anti-mould emulsion paint suitable for interior surfaces exposed to increased humidity, such as bathrooms and kitchens, is applied. The product is thoroughly stirred, diluted with 5–10% water and applied by paintbrush, roller or airless spray in 1–2 coats, allowing 2–3 hours between coats.
